Just bought a new 6HP 4 stroke Evenrude for my SJ23 last year. Have no
trouble getting up to 5.5 knots at full power. Had a old 2 stroke 9.9 on it
before and didnt do much better.Supposedly a 4 stroke has more torqe, that
may be the difference.
