In very hot weather, you may be able to coat in two weeks. On this side of the mountains we plan for at least a month. If you can find someone with a moister meter, that will tell you. You can also tape a piece of plastic wrap over a section when it is cool, and see if condensation forms when the sun comes out. As long as you get condensation, you need to dry more.

This is a follow on to an earlier question. If I find blisters on the keel when I haul it next week,  how long should I let it dry after removing the gel coat before applying the epoxy system?

 

Trying to plan the next couple of weeks.
