spinnakers and singlehanding

I don't have any direct experience, but there was a long discussion
about this in January in one of the rec.boats.* newsgroups.  You
can see the first article in the thread at

Lots of folks did it, some with socks/snuffers and some without, but most
seem to have some sort of autopilot, as well as a lot more sea time than I
have.
