<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>Hello everyone. Grampa is about to brag. My
grandson Matthew Smart (my daughter Katherine's boy) sails with the Friday
Harbor High School sailing team. The team just hit the big time! They sail Laser
IIs and just won the Northwest Interscholastic Sailing Association
District Regatta held here in Roche Harbor, San juan Island. For their
accomplishment the team are going to Grosse Pointe, Michigan, for the ISSA
Mallory Cup Double-Handed Nationals May 7 and 8. Needless to say we are pretty
proud of Matthew and the team. Matt will be crewing for me on Saturday, May 16
on the first leg of the Around San Juan Race and then he will finish the second
leg as skipper with a friend as crew since I have to be elsewhere on Sunday. I
sure hope some of you other Puget Sound San Juan 23 Internet Fleet skippers will
come to San Juan and join Hal Mueller and me. It will be a shame to have just
Hal and I competing for the SJ 23 Internet Fleet Cup! (I just invented that but
it sure sounds good.)</FONT></DIV>
