Hi Everyone;
I have a question for the fleet,
1- What
should be the best tension to have on the side stays?
Minor sag on the leeward stays ...
about even when going to weather
2- What should the tension be
on the head stay when the back stay adjuster is
pulled tight?
Equal ... there should be no
sag when the wind pipes up or as little as possible and no scallops on the
luff ... halyard tension helps. If you have backstay adjuster, slack off
going downwind or ease the jib halyard a little
3- How many SJ23 skippers that live in the Southeast region be
interested in
coming to a class regatta in Ga. in the near future (I have
4 or 5 boats now)?
Sorry, no
trailer.
Thanks
