I would take the cushions to the professional upholsterer
who specializes quality auto and marine upholstering, because they have
quality marine-grade fabric (also used for auto) that can withstand the harsh
outdoors, esp. the moisture from the rain, etc. The fabric will cost
more, but it will be well worth extra few bucks, last longer and in better
shape.
We had ours done that way with pick of quality fabric, firm
cushions (3" firm), with piping details around the edges (a must!!! look at your
original cushion), and the stiffner board at the back, which cost around
$900. It looks soooo nice, giving an instant facelift!! The fabric usually cost around $17-20 wholesale, $23-28 at the
shop. Foam around $400, labor around $450. It'll be best $1000 you
spend, well almost.

We had our cushions replaced this summer. We had to buy
our own fabric at an outlet and then took them to the Foam
Man in
Corvallis, Oregon near where we live. The fabric cost about $100 for 20
yards and new foam and sewing cost
$533. We are very happy with the
