I have a single axle training for my SJ23 which I tow with a Dodge RAM 1500
pick-up.  I've never towed the boat very far at a time (maybe 40 miles) but
I don't think I'd have any problem on a longer trip.

In looking at used San Juan 23's -  some have no trailer, some have a single
axle, and some have a dual axle - I certainly intend to trailer
(otherwise I'd get an SJ 24)  how important is the second axle?  Thanks
