Hi Mike,

I have a single axle Calkins trailer under my 77 San Juan 23. I am pricing a 
tandem axel conversion at this time. I tow my boat about 60 miles, once in 
the spring to dunk it and once in the fall to take it to storage. This year 
I got hit with a gust of wind while I was towing the boat home and it 
started to sway very badly. She swayed so bad that the tires were squealing. 
I got things settled down but that one scare was enough to make me look into 
upgrading to tandem axles.

I'll keep you guys posted on the conversion, parts list and prices.
