If the marina gets sticky about overall length you take up in the slip, pull
the rudder when you come in , and pull the outboard, then all you have to
deal with is the bow pulpit. Not practical to remove. Pulling the rudder and
outboard cuts down on the evaporation. I sell at least one rudder a year
because it was not in the cabin.
