Makes me wonder why the main would have two sets of reef points.....But I still want to set it in case I sail to Ocracoke or such and need to be prepared.
How's your cunningham rigged?

The main is relatively small on a San Juan 23, so reefing is not a problem with me....make sure cunningham, outhaul, and backstay are all tensioned, and spill the wind (I use the sheet, many use the traveler)
