RE: So...is there any interest in a San Juan 23 Championship @ Labor Day?

I propose a San Juan 23 championships in conjunction with the Lake Norman Yacht Club's Labor Day regatta....it could be around the buoys or a longer PHRF couse....the Yacht Club has full launch and docking facilities....and ample camping and showers....it will be a good party and good sailing...and you could feel free to stay Sunday night and 'cruise the lake' on Monday before heading home. Charlotte is a midway point between Virginia/Chesapeake, Coastal NC and South Georgia, places where we have concentartions of SJ 23's
